Why is my girlfriends mom so annoying?

me and my girlfriend have been living with her mom for the month until we move into our new place and her mom is soo annoying and when im alone with her mom she talks about stuff i dont care about and she never stops talking but i dont wanna be rude and tell her to shutup what do i do im going crazy
