What is the life expectancy for patients diagnosed with Non small cell lung cancer stage 4?

Unfortunately it is not good. My husband was diagnosed March 20th 2006. He went thru chemo radiation gamma knife procedure and took a drug called tarceva. It is very expensive but has had good results. Ask the doctor about it. Sadly my love ped away June 6th 2006. Good luck. Hope this helps. Please ask about the tarceva. It is worth a try.
