Which are the better pair of boots, and which would look better with these jeans and generally skirts?

The Hot Topic boots look like they would go easier with different pants and skirts, the other boots look too thick and big, and you'd have to be more careful with what you choose to wear, and might look odd. I like the 1st pair of pants, the more faded ones, and the last link I couldn't get an image. So of those 2 pants, the 1st ones, with the boots on the outside. If they were on the inside, those pants are too skinny and it would show and look funny probably. Hot with any skirt too, really.
