How can the results of an agglutination test be used to determine your immunity to a disease?

Agglutination occurs when an antibody binds to its antigen. Antibodies are one way the immune system defends against disease and are a marker of immunity. Thus, if agglutination to a certain antigen occurs, that means that the antibody to that antigen is present, thus the person is immune to the disease.
